A summer sign in Pinedale reminded me life isn't perfect, but your outfit can be. I sewed a pink silk gingham trench-inspired coat, shortened the 1970s collar, removed three inches from the back, hand-stitched elastic cord in a criss-cross to gather the lining, faced the hem for extra length, added vintage buttons, plus pink gingham coat sewing tips.
