Tired of Oryx timeouts? My Azure Static Web App deploys were failing with a Failure during content distribution error, so I refactored my Wintersmith blog. I moved shared menus into HTML fragments and load them with an 11 line fetch script. New posts now touch 2 to 5% of files instead of 84%, cutting upload size and timeout risk, with a static fallback.
