Bold bubblegum stripes made me change course. I mix horizontal and vertical panels to fix stripe fabric alignment, swapped a curved darted bodice, and added a top sleeve dart for my shoulders. I used a vintage Vogue pattern, a hand picked lapped zipper, cotton batiste lining, mother of pearl buttons and a pieced hem. Practical pink striped dress sewing and fitting yourself tips.
