Think microfilm is boring? On a whim at The National Archives I loaded a reel and found a 1873 copyright file that led to a 19th century photography scandal. Photographer Richard Parker Estabrooke at 153 Fleet Street had 150 indecent images seized, faced the Old Bailey and got four months in Holloway.
