Found in my favorite sashiko book SASHIKO Modern Style 31 by Ayufish, the digital numbers sashiko pattern is a playful hitomezashi grid. I stitched a sashiko pi pattern because I love pie. How to stitch: draw your own sashiko grid or use Daruma pre-printed sashiko fabric, stitch verticals first then horizontals.
