A funeral in the Scottish Highlands drags Ingrid Barker back to Strathbairn. In my Secrets Taken to the Grave review I applaud Isobel Blackthorn’s cold malice and creeping dread, and follow Ingrid as an amateur sleuth. I was gripped though some scenes felt repetitive, and the cliffhanger is delicious.
